Expect the best and the worst of me: I will never take the train when I can fly; I’ll never be silent when I can speak; I’ll never turn away when I can help and I can never walk when I can run..
My mind is full of many thoughts and my heart is full of many hopes. I need a computer to sort it out or just someone who can run beside me and toss dreams with me from today until the many tomorrows. If you are that person, I would not bother or dare look over my shoulder to see if you’re near.
I may have some deep, unexplained fear within me that keeps me from ever looking back, but when I find someone who will finally match my speed, hopefully he could slow me down to his pace too. He only has to hold my hand tightly and never let me go…
Though the north winds may drive me on… secretly, I may long to rest awhile more than you know…
More about Glorybee, the writer:
“Glorybee” is a pen name suggested by friends who shares her advocacy for Empowering the Filipina. “Glory” is a Christian name given by her parents. It means magnificence halo, and nimbus, something sacred. “Bee” represents a sting, a bite, maybe fatal or merely to prick the conscience of the reader.
She is a Filipina of Spanish and Italian descent, from the Farallon clan in Spain and Italy. Although a Christian by faith, she has Arab roots from the Alcoran clan whose historical origin traces in the Middle East.
She was schooled in the First American University established in Asia by Protestant Missionaries, Silliman University, located in Dumaguete City, Phillippines, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management, cum laude and Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honors. During her college days, she was the President of the Oratorical and Debating Club and the President of the Supreme Law Council, the college of law student body.
She served as member of the City Legislative Body of Dumaguete, Philippines in 1986 to 1994, and the Vice-President Emeritus of the League of City Councilors of the Philippines, Central Visayas Chapter. She was awarded one of the Most Outstanding City Councilors of the Philippines in 1990. She is a Human Rights advocate, a Filipina Rights activist and a free lance writer.

I read your article… It is true and very sad that Filipina women are so hungry to have relationshipswith foreigners. And they do this by grabbing other men from co-Filipinas. Iexperience this myself. It hurts because some men like flirty Filipina than the decent ones. Whoever that “Ligaya” was, I hope she will really get her karma. I love the way you write. Maybe you are a lawyer or someone who knows the law. More power to you. God bless you.

Amazing story! I pray there will be many Filipinas who will share the same passion like you have in working out hard to preserve our dignity that is stained by some ambitious and greedy fellow Filipinas. Good job…May God bless you more with wisdom and sound health so you can continue to share to many Filipinos your ideals and learn from it.
